Dexter is so close to finishing Trinity and ending his marriage to Rita. Dexter has begun to realize that the closer he gets to Trinity, the more he stands to learn from this very different beast. And when the friction between Rita and him comes to a head, Dexter gleans relationship advice from a most unlikely source.
Dexter knows it’s only a matter of time before Miami Metro discovers the Trinity Killer’s latest handiwork. Therefore, he has to work doubly hard to stay one step ahead of their investigation. Trinity hides behind a well-kept mask, and getting behind that facade will require some extra prodding on Dexter’s part.
Meanwhile, Debra becomes frustrated when she finds herself shut out from her own case. She considers bending the rules in the name of justice, risking her career in the process. LaGuerta and Batista come to regret a major decision, and realize that by playing by the rules they may have painted themselves into a corner.
In addition to the preview, Showtime releases two clips from the November 1 episode. The first one deals with Debra telling Dexter her theory while the second one is about Rita and Dexter going for marriage counseling.

One of the exclusive new posters for the “Dexter” animated series “Early Cuts” has been debuted along with several stills. The poster, which shows a silhouette of Dexter lunging his knife, is featuring the artwork of graphic novelist Kyle Baker whose work has appeared in “Looney Tunes” projects as well as networks such as MTV and BET.

“Early Cuts” is a twelve-part series told in four, one to two-minute chapters. Also a project by Showtime, the wesbisode will run weekly beginning October 25 at www.sho.com. Not only Baker, the art department is also filled by Andres Vera Martinez and Ty Templeton.
Written by producer and writer for the show Lauren Gussis, fans of the Emmy-nominated series will get the chance to learn “how Dexter’s killing techniques evolved, from haphazard to the calculated methods seen on the show.”
Characters in the series include Alex Timmons the corrupt Gulf War veteran, Gene Marshall the arsonist, and Cindy Landon the “black widow”. Michael C. Hall from the show will voice Dexter in the webseries and narrate the story.

The pressures of fatherhood continue to take a toll on Dexter Morgan as we head to then second episode of Dexter’s fourth season. This time, however, our favorite serial killer has a bigger challenge to conquer when the remains of his latest victim go missing after crashing his car in last week’s premiere. Though he’s bound to weave a web of lies to extract himself from this dilemma, it’s hard to imagine how Dexter will pull this one off. One thing’s for sure, he needs to work fast before his dark secret gets exposed to the world.
Meanwhile, Miami Metro’s two simultaneous murder cases continue to escalate. It seems like their top priority though is to solve “The Vacation Murders,” which is a series of robberies gone bad that threaten Miami’s lucrative tourist industry. Lt. LaGuerta surprises Angel with the media’s take on this new case, and you can instantly feel the tension between them. Could work be getting in the way of their secret affair?
Deb, on the other hand, continues to work on the case of Lisa Bell, who died at the hands of the Trinity Killer. And as expected, Lundy remains convinced that the bigger problem is dealing with the latter. Speaking of the Trinity Killer, it looks like he’s already set his sights on his next victim.
Amidst all the carnage, we also learn that Deb has started wearing perfume but is defensive when asked by Masuka if it has something to do with the return of former flame Lundy. Deb insists that she’s still with Anton so I really hope she doesn’t go down that road with Lundy again.
“Remains To Be Seen” airs tonight at 9pm on Showtime.
